About us
Founded in 1997, tech-doc is an association of freelancers. As a full-service company, we offer the complete portfolio for technical documentation and its subsequent translation into and from all European languages. We use state-of-the-art publishing tools and create your technical documentation using the desktop publishing software of your choice.
We set up project-related teams and employ freelancers on a targeted basis wherever needed. This ensures high-quality documentation while simultaneously keeping documentation costs at a low level. Our experts include specialists with many years of experience and outstanding know-how in the most diverse fields:
- Technical writers
- Translators with linguistic diplomas and/or many years of professional experience, translating exclusively into their native language
- DTP specialists
- Experts for technical documentation
- Graphic designers
- Programmers
Our translators are members of the respective national translator associations such as BDÜ (Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators), ATA (Association of Translation Companies), PSBT (Polish Association of Translation Agencies / Polskie Stowarzyszenie Biur Tłumaczeń), ITA, etc. Our technical writers are members of tekom, the German professional association for technical documentation.
We translate in line with the requirements of DIN EN 15038. This is certified by our registration with DIN CERTCO (Reg. No. 7U248).
High requirements are the yardstick for our work. We are a member of QSD (Qualitätssprachendienst Deutschlands e. V.) and tekom and strictly adhere to their quality criteria.
